JOHN CLARK

Trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama John freelanced as a musician in London for 10 years. He was head of brass at the Junior Dept. at the Guildhall for 15 years and Professor of the Euphonium for the same period. As a photographer he worked mainly in the fashion and beauty business before photographing actors around seven years ago.

He is now one of the most popular theatrical photographers in London. His natural style of portraiture has earned him an enviable reputation. John embraced digital photography around four and a half years ago and is still one of the only photographers in this field working this way. It has been extremely successful with clients and agents alike.

John is also the leading theatre school children’s photographer, shooting nearly 30% of Children’s Spotlight. He also oversees all the photography and brochure production for Stagecoach Theatre Schools PLC.

His natural style of portraiture has earned him an enviable reputation.
